Purchasing
At A is for Artists Gallery we offer several ways to make a purchase.
- Purchase online through our secure shopping cart system.
- Call the gallery to purchase an item you see online by telephone.
- Email the gallery to arrange a purchase for an item you see online
- Payment. A Is for Artists Gallery accepts all major credit cards, PayPal and checks. In some cases, A Is for Artists Gallery may reserve the right to hold shipping until a personal check clears. Please call to arrange your purchase.
You can purchase online with confidence. We use a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol when transmitting the information you provide for the completion of a sale. This includes name, address, password and credit card. All data is encrypted and for all practical purposes cannot be intercepted by a third party.
To inquire about items on our website we offer several options.
- Add the item(s) to the shopping cart. Complete the checkout process and instead of selecting credit card from the dropdown list in the payment method field, select "Email Inquiry". This will provide us with all the pertinent information about the item(s) you are interested in and your contact information so we can respond accurately to your inquiry..
- Call the gallery to inquire about an item you see online.
- Email the gallery to inquire about an item you see online.
Gift Certificates
Purchase a gift certificate online.
Need a gift but can't decide what to get for that special someone, give them one of our gift certificates and let them choose. You can enter the dollar value of the certificate, and let them select their gift from our web site. Our gift certificates are processed through payPal. You can use one of your credit cards or if you have a payPal account, you can use it during the checkout process.
Once you purchase a gift certificate, you and the recipient will receive emails. The recipient will receive an email with the dollar value and a gift certificate code. They can shop at our website and during checkout the value of the gift certificate will be applied to their order. If the value of the order is greater than the certificate, they can pay the difference with a credit card. If the value of the order is less than the certificate, they will have the difference remaining in the gift certificate to be used on their next order. The difference cannot be refunded in cash only credit to be used on the website or in the gallery.

Damage Return Policy
Any damage to an item that occurs during shipping must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of receipt of the item. A return number will be issued at that time. Since the Gallery uses UPS – their claims policy will be in effect.
Returns
A Is for Artists Gallery accepts items for return within ten days of purchase. We are happy to provide credit for the amount of the purchase or to exchange your purchase for another item. Credit will be valid for three months. A Is For Artists Gallery cannot provide refunds.
Any item returned must be properly packaged, boxed, and insured. There can be no sign of wear or incorrect treatment. Please call us if you have questions.
Special Orders
The A Is for Artists Gallery welcomes special orders. Many of our artists are happy to work with you to create a special commission or piece of jewelry. At the time a design is approved and both parties decide to proceed with the order, the gallery will require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remainder will be due upon completion of the piece.
Special orders will be treated as final sales. Returns of special orders cannot be accepted.
Layaways
A Is for Artists Gallery offers an interest free layaway policy for the purchase of any gallery item. We ask 30% down at the time of purchase and allow 2 months for payment to be completed.
Special Exhibits
Purchases made from special exhibits will be treated as final sales. Returns of special exhibit items cannot be accepted.

We use our mailing list for announcements of gallery shows and other events. If you would rather receive our announcement cards via email, please contact us and we will put you on that list.
